Lenovo P770 dual core with 1GB RAM price, specifications in India

The P770 is a dual SIM phone with dual standby mode. The handset comes with mini SIM slot. Weight is around 160 grams and thickness is 11.9mm. The Lenovo P770 runs on 1.2 GHz Dual core cortex A9 processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU.
The GPU is the same that is used on the hot selling Micromax A110, however this handset comes with some improved features like 1GB RAM, 960×540 pixels resolution (4.5 inch screen). The camera is 5MP resolution and should record videos in 720p resolution.  There is front camera too.
The Lenovo P770 runs on Jelly Bean OS (version 4.1). Other features included are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, WiFi, micro USB and GPS. The battery is of a higher capacity of 3500 mAh, which is just too good and should give 40% more battery backup as compared with Micromax A110 and Lava Xolo A700.
The pricing details or the launch date is not yet confirmed. The P770 priced at under Rs. 12,000 would be a good deal.

vugadgets-Micromax A110 vs A100 full review

vugadgets blog

Price:Rs. 9,999

full review:
A110, dual core with 8MP camera and a 5 inch touchscreen display. For under 10K it is a good buy, better than A100. The performance is slightly better than the Micromax A90.
More Details
The Micromax A110 comes with dual core and houses an 8 MP camera. It is much better than its predecessor the Micromax A100. I bought the A110 for personal use, got it today and here is the review.
A110 box pack
The handset is big, it’s with a 5 inch screen. Inside the box you will find the handset, charger, USB to micro USB cable, earphones, 2000 mAh battery and warranty / user manual.
Design and build quality
The earphones are good but the one that I got with the Micromax A90 were even better. However the sound output is really good and loud.  The handset has got a greyish sliver side with black back cover (or white depending on your colour choice).
The handset looks more or less like a Samsung galaxy phone, it has that premium look. The rear back cover is made of thin plastic. If you look closely you can see small gaps between the body and the back cover

The power button is placed on the right side, micro USB on the top along with 3.5mm jack and volume rockers on the left. The rear side is textured / embossed that helps get a good grip. You will also find the speaker out and 8MP camera with dual LED flash.

Display and Performance
The screen is 5 inches (4.9 inches) with 854×480 pixels. There are 3 dedicated buttons on the front side.  The touch is smooth, I found it better than the A90 – probably cause of a bigger screen and it was fun typing as lot of space and few errors. The display glass is scratch resistant – no need for a protective film but for added protection you can add.
The performance was flawless, buttery smooth and apps installed much faster. The processor is MT6577 with PowerVR SGX 531 GPU. There was a mild rendering lag when zooming in on to a text matter while using the stock browser.
RAM = 512 MB – Usable is 473MB of which 231MB is free.
Internal Storage for Apps : 503MB – 400MB free.
Internal SD card :  2.05GB.
Benchmark
Quadrant : 1st test 2659, 2nd test = 2710.
Antutu: 4580. You can even get a score of around 5000 to5400 I got – 5352, if you uncheck “verify score by network time”.
NenaMark2: 25.4fps.
Linpack: Single : 36 Double : 61.

Lava Iris N400 dual SIM ICS phone price and specifications in india

Lava Iris N400 dual SIM ICS phone for under Rs. 6400

Lava mobiles have launched the lava Iris N400 a dual SIM handset running Android 4.0 OS (ICS). The handset is priced at Rs. 6,400 and thankfully most of the specifications are known, it could compete well with the Micromax A68 Smarty 4.0.
Even when most of the Indian consumers are buying a dual core handset or eagerly waiting for affordable quad core models, manufactures are still pushing this outdated technology with ICS and a reasonable price tag. A good option to have as a backup phone.
The lava Iris N400 specs may look similar to the Micromax A68 but there are some difference especially the free internal storage space for apps which most of you may not like, plus there are some features that are missing on A68. The N400 comes with 512MB RAM and 127MB internal storage, MMX A68 says 2GB but it is still not confirmed.
With 127MB free space you will need a micro SD card but can only install apps of size not more than the available space, and later on once installed you can move it to the external SD card. Unlike the A68 he N400 supports 3G which is good news.
The Iris N400 is powered by a 1GHz processor, runs on Android 4.0.1, supports dual SIM and houses a 4 inch touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution with 16M colours. The handset is 10.2 mm thin and also comes with dual cameras.
There is a front VGA camera for video chats and a rear 5MP camera with flash, 4x digital zoom and night vision features. The battery is 1500 mAh capacity. For the price of Rs. 6,399 it seems like a good option to MMX A68 but with limited internal storage space.

Lava Iris N400 Key Features and Specifications
  • Dual SIM with ICS version 4.0.1.
  • 1GHz single core processors CPU/GPU unknown.
  • 4 inch TFT touchscreen with 800×480 pixels resolution.
  • 512MB RAM, approx 203 MB internal storage of which 127MB is available for users; Micro SD card up to 32GB supported.
  • 5MP rear with video recording and LED flash and 0.3MP front camera.
  • 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and micro USB slot.

Hot stuff mix: Sony KDL-46HX853, Xbox 360, Sony BDV-N590, Sky + HD

Sony KDL-46HX853
Sony has got off to a flier with its 2012 TVs, so it seems churlish not to stay 'on brand': the HX853 combines stylish looks and superb pictures.
Xbox 360
No PS3? Well, you've got Sony Music and Video Unlimited and a Blu-ray player on the cinema system, so fire-up Xbox Live in surround sound instead.

Sony BDV-N590
A master of all trades, the N590 delivers sterling audio and video performance plus an exhaustive selection of smart features at a knockdown price.

Sky + HD
If the N590 takes care of the sound and the Sony TV ensures a great picture, why not let the Sky box give you something to watch, with over 50 HD channels and a handful of decent 3D options.

Hot stuff: Google Nexus 7 reviews

SPECIFICATION
1 FINISH
The grippy, textured finish offers a comfy, secure hold. Perhaps "premium" isn't quite the word here, but it's not unpleasant
2 CAMERA
The 1.2-meg front-facing camera caters for Skype video chats and multi-user Google+ Hangouts
3 SCREEN
The resolution is 1280x800 HD that, at seven inches across, equates to 216ppi. It's also scratch resistant
4 CHARGE DOCK
When the compatible charger arrives you'll be able to charge more-or-less contactlessly via these artistic holes

The Nexus 7 is the first Android device to run on Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google's mobile OS. As its "Android 4.1" alias suggests, it's evolving rather than, er, revolting, but it does make for a more sophisticated user experience; let us take you through some of its sauciest new features.
Everything is displayed in a slick card interface not unlike the application cards used on Palm's late and lamented WebOS. It's a brilliant example of how intelligent and intuitive devices like this can be, even if it does raise questions about privacy. Obviously, you can turn Now off if you're concerned about carrying a spy around in your pocket.

The improved voice control is essentially a rival for Siri. It doesn't tell dad you've found mum's present, but it does make searching for facts and pictures easier(so long as you don't mind babbling to an inanimate object like a loon).

As well as a bang up-to-date, optimised, unskinned OS, the Nexus 7 has plenty of power under the hood with enough muster to tackle multitasking and deliver smooth streaming video. Unlike its seven-inch competitors, it packs a Tegra 3 quadcore processor. In fact, it's actually "quin-core" as there's an additional one that handles low-intensity tasks, rather than unleashing the power-hungry quadcore on obscure system operations and sending texts.

Combined with Android 4.1's, ahem, evocatively-named "Project Butter", it makes for some seriously slick navigation. Touch response is particularly improved, and there's a smarter virtual keyboard that adapts to your typing style.

The Nexus 7's design choices are impeccable. A tablet is no place for rear cameras, and it wisely sticks to a 1.2-meg front-facer that offers enough clarity and quality for video calling over Skype, Google+ et al.

If you are planning to use the GPS, the new Google Maps now lets you cache content offline, so you can pre-plan your route and have it all there in the memory — essential, given the lack of 3G.

Android Beam.allows you to instantly send pictures, music and videos via NFC to compatible devices. It's of slightly limited use compared to something like AirPlay, and there's also no HDMI output to get your tablet's media out into the wider world.

Asus claims around nine hours of battery life, about the same as the new iPad. With the fifth, battery-saving core doing its job, it'll comfortably get you through the day. Android tab to really rival the iPad. Why? The economy, stupid: the 8GB model costs just £159.

Compare with Kindle Fire, I think the Nexus 7 is a better, more attractive and powerful tablet. It's also easier to get content onto it from sources other than its manufacturer. And, what do you think of the amazing stuff?

THE FAST AND THE CURIOUS: Aspid GT-21 Invictus

Sleek, menacing, desirable. But enough about Luke Peters' ed's letter photograph, this limited-edition supercar has an ultra-lightweight, 80kg "spaceframe" chassis, which can be bulleted to 62mph in under three seconds, and thence to 189mph, like a Batmobile being dropped off a cliff All that's required is a powerful-but-not-massively-so, 4.4-litre, 450bhp, BMW V8 engine. Invictuses will be handmade at the rate of just 250 per year, so you'd better move with equal rapidity.
